US WEBCAST – Commodities end week with a whimper

The copper price languished at a one-month low on Friday morning in the US, with the persistently high dollar and questions over global demand pressuring the base metals. The gold market is likely to drift in a tight range until the US presidential election is decided but the main focus remains on the Federal Reserve’s December meeting. Looking ahead, LME Week is quickly approaching and the mating season should start to pick up some steam. Most deals are expected to be completed over the next month.
